Job summary

Morae Global seeks an experienced eDiscovery professional to join our Bengaluru team. You will work on data processing, productions, and review workflows, collaborating with the eDiscovery team to support litigation support needs in both cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes metadata handling, production standards, and root-cause analysis, with strong SQL skills and experience in Relativity, Nuix, and other platforms. Hybrid work setup preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of hands-on experience in eDiscovery, with strong experience in data processing, productions, quality control, and litigation support workflows.
• Thorough understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
• Proficiency in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nuix, Reveal, Everlaw, or similar industry-standard tools.
• Experience handling complex client requirements, large datasets, and time-sensitive deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of metadata, load files, processing specifications, production standards, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and independently resolve technical and process-related issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reading, writing, and optimizing SQL queries and formulating data based on business and project requirements.
• Monitoring application performance and providing timely technical support and responses to front-end users.
• Working closely with the eDiscovery Team to support data processing, productions, review, and litigation support workflows.
• Understanding and handling multiple data types, including email and messaging environments such as PST and NSF, Microsoft Office documents, and other electronically stored information (ESI).
• Working with eDiscovery technology solutions and software such as Relativity, Nuix, Reveal, Everlaw, and other industry-standard platforms. Relativity Certification is preferred.
• Having a good understanding of metadata, load files, processing specifications, and production standards.
• Working in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Supporting data processing, quality control, document productions, load file creation, and troubleshooting of production-related issues.
• Demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and ideation skills, with the ability to brainstorm solutions, connect technical and business requirements, and solve complex problems.
• Experience supporting data management and eDiscovery tools such as ReadySuite, SafeCopy, TreeSize, Aid4Mail, and similar tools is a plus.
• Understanding client and business requirements and providing timely and practical technical resolutions.
• Applying logical and analytical thinking while considering business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Performing root cause analysis and independently resolving technical, application, database, and process-related issues.
• Handling calls with clients and internal teams to troubleshoot application, processing, workflow, and production-related issues.
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring completion within agreed TAT/SLA and quality standards.
• Working effectively as a team member by understanding individual and team responsibilities, contributing to a positive working environment, and building strong relationships with team members.
• Proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback while also providing guidance and support to less-experienced team members.
• Supporting and guiding junior team members on technical and eDiscovery-related matters.

• Experience in Computer Forensics and tools such as FTK, EnCase, or other forensic platforms is a plus.

Experience and Requirements

• Experience creating and maintaining workflow documentation, process guides, technical specifications, and knowledge-base documents.
• Ability to lead technical investigations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing collaboration with colleagues in the office and productivity while working remotely.
• Willingness to work from the office as required based on business, team, and client needs
