Responsibilities

• Asset tracking: Accurately recording details of each hardware asset, including location, serial number, purchase date, vendor information, and current status.
• Lifecycle management: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of hardware assets, from initial purchase to eventual retirement or disposal.
• Inventory management: Maintaining a centralized database of all hardware assets, enabling easy access to information for inventory checks and reporting.
• Procurement: Managing the process of acquiring new hardware assets, including vendor selection, price negotiation, and contract management.
• Deployment: Coordinating the distribution and installation of new hardware assets to end users.
• Maintenance: Scheduling and overseeing regular maintenance activities for hardware assets to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Compliance management: Ensuring adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations regarding hardware asset management, such as software licensing compliance.
• Cost optimization: Analyzing hardware usage and identifying opportunities to reduce costs through effective asset utilization, lease agreements, and disposal strategies.
