Job summary

Ofis Square in India is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to lead architectural and interior design projects from concept to execution.

You will develop concepts, coordinate with clients and consultants, review drawings, ensure NBC and fire safety compliance, and mentor junior teams while managing budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred.
• 6–10 years of professional experience in architecture and interior design.
• Experience in corporate office interiors or hospitality projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and interior design projects through all phases from concept to handover.
• Develop design concepts, space planning, presentations, and client proposals.
• Prepare and review architectural and interior drawings.
• Ensure NBC, fire safety, and local regulations compliance.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, HVAC, and other consultants.
• Manage timelines, budgets, quality, and deliverables.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Mentor junior architects and design teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution and ensure alignment with drawings.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architect to lead architectural and interior design projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong design sensibilities, technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while coordinating with clients, consultants, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural and interior design projects through all phases—from concept development to project handover.
• Develop design concepts, space planning, presentations, and client proposals.
• Prepare and review architectural, interior, and construction drawings.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, local building bye-laws, fire safety regulations, and project standards.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, HVAC, fire, electrical, and other consultants.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, quality, and deliverables.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Guide and mentor junior architects and design teams.
• Review working drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution, resolve design issues, and ensure work aligns with approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project management teams for smooth execution.
• Review RFIs, material submittals, and mock-ups before implementation.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and documentation.
• Maintain high standards of design quality, detailing, and technical accuracy.

Required Skills:

• Strong design and visualization abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of architectural detailing and interior fit-out.
• Sound understanding of construction techniques and materials.
• Thorough knowledge of NBC, fire safety norms, accessibility standards, and building regulations.
