Job summary

Savjani Architecture and Engineering Consultants (SAEC) is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design and delivery from concept through construction documents. The role is hybrid with on-site coordination for client meetings and site visits based in Gujarat.

You will develop concepts, prepare drawings and specs, and coordinate with structural and MEP engineers while ensuring code compliance and design quality. Mentoring junior staff and engaging with clients are core activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or eligibility is an advantage.
• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design; ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in design and documentation software (AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept to construction documentation.

Role Description The Senior Architect will lead the design and delivery of architectural projects, from concept development through detailed design and construction documentation. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Vadodara, with flexibility for some work from home while maintaining an on-site presence for project coordination, client meetings, and site visits. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings and specifications, coordinating with structural and MEP engineers, and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards. The Senior Architect will oversee project timelines, support junior team members, participate in design reviews, and collaborate closely with clients and external stakeholders to align solutions with functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements. The role also involves reviewing technical integrations, supporting quality assurance processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of design and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit/BIM tools, SketchUp, Adobe Suite or similar).
• Demonstrated experience in mass housing, institutional, public, infrastructure, or heritage projects is highly beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and design quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or eligibility is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Ahmedabad, manage multiple priorities, and mentor junior architects and designers.
