Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Surat. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings and models, and coordinating detailed architectural design documentation for a variety of government, corporate, commercial, and residential projects. Daily tasks include collaborating with engineers, planners, and interior designers, reviewing project requirements, and ensuring designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and client specifications. The role involves participating in project meetings, supporting project planning and scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and consultants during execution. The Architect will also support integration of design solutions across disciplines, contribute to quality control of drawings and documents, and assist in site visits and inspections as required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, spatial planning, and preparation of design and construction drawings.
• Design thinking skills to pro actively think of different and creative design ideas and meathods.
• Ability to collaborate on Project Management activities such as timeline planning, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring design deliverables.
• Familiarity with Integration of architectural work with structural, MEP, and interior design disciplines to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
• Working knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar) and willingness to learn additional design or Software Development tools as needed for documentation and coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional registration or eligibility is an advantage.
• Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to commercial, residential, and government projects.
• Strong visual, technical, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to solve design and coordination challenges.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team on-site in Surat.
