Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Senior Application Engineer, Zuora Billing to architect and operate billing solutions across subscriptions, revenue and accounting processes. The role focuses on designing, configuring and supporting Zuora Billing with enterprise integrations, production support and process automation.

REMOTE-FIRST company, multiple country teams; candidate should be able to work from India/remote locations. Prior experience with Zuora, Salesforce and Oracle ERP is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Zuora Subscriptions, Billing, Product and Pricing Management.
• Experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce, Oracle ERP, banks, payment gateways and Avalara.
• Expertise in Zuora objects, custom events and Zuora Workflows.
• Experience with system conversions and enterprise implementations.
• Good understanding of customer aging, AR-to-GL reconciliation and month-end processes.
• Knowledge of change management and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• B.Tech or MBA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and complex product catalog design within Zuora Billing.
• Design scalable O2C and related revenue solutions.
• Configure charge models, subscription lifecycles, billing rules and pricing structures.
• Build Zuora workflows, automation, integrations and data transformations.
• Design integrations with Oracle ERP, Salesforce, tax engines and payment gateways.
• Develop API-based integrations and automated reconciliation processes.
• Support multi-entity and multi-currency global billing environments.
• Manage incidents, root-cause analysis, releases and production stability.
• Lead requirements workshops and post-go-live hypercare.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide leadership.
