Responsibilities
- Assume senior technical leadership for the design, governance, and continuous evolution of enterprise‑grade applications that operate at scale, handle high transaction volumes, and support complex business workflows.
- Act at the intersection of architecture, engineering excellence, and long‑term system stewardship, with clear accountability for architectural quality across the full application lifecycle.
- Reason holistically across frontend, backend, integration, and data layers, ensuring that architectural decisions remain compatible with correctness, performance, reliability, and operability in all layers.
- Formulate application architecture blueprints that clearly articulate system structure, component boundaries, integration patterns, and runtime behavior.
- Establish, document, and enforce engineering and architectural standards, ensuring consistency and discipline across multiple development teams while allowing sufficient flexibility for teams to evolve responsibly.
- Provide technical mentorship through architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, and structured code reviews, guiding teams toward sound design choices and away from architectural anti‑patterns.
- Operate in an AI‑first manner as part of normal engineering practice, leveraging AI‑assisted tools for design validation, code and integration review, and analysis of architectural trade‑offs.
- Use AI as an accelerator for insight and early risk detection, not as a replacement for engineering judgment.
- Maintain full accountability for architectural decisions—including correctness, security, performance, and operability—at all times.
- Ensure the delivery of scalable, resilient, maintainable, and evolvable enterprise solutions, designing systems that behave predictably under load, degrade gracefully under failure, and adapt to change without repeated large‑scale rework.
- Safeguard architectural integrity and long‑term sustainability as systems scale, fail, and evolve.
