Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java and J2EE solutions in an enterprise software environment.
- Architect and implement microservices using Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.
- Integrate event‑driven components with Kafka and manage caching with Redis.
- Implement SQL and NoSQL data stores including PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
- Apply design patterns and maintain UML documentation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and other open‑source tools.
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and business leads to define solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance in high‑volume transaction environments.
- Write clear technical documentation and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Qualifications
- 2–6 years of software development experience with Java and J2EE.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and coding.
- Hands‑on experience with Kafka, Redis, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, and SQL.
- Knowledge and application of design patterns, UML, and at least one UML tool.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in high‑volume transaction environments and deliver high‑quality, reliable solutions.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or banking systems is highly desirable.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
