The role is based in Bangalore Securities Lending Sponsored Repo Operations. The team provides operational support in respect of Sponsored Repo requirements for Northern Trust’s clients in all markets in which Northern Trust operates & also supports Northern Trust’s Sponsored Repo program, The position is responsible for Provide oversight of daily Sponsored Repo activities, including trade settlement, clearing fund management, reconciliations, and funding obligations. Review and validate operational outputs, ensuring accuracy of trade bookings, settlements, cash movements, and client reporting. Investigate and resolve complex exceptions such as settlement breaks, unmatched trades, reconciliation discrepancies, and funding issues. Prepare and maintain KPI, MIS, and management reporting, providing insights into team performance and operational health. Support stakeholder engagement, process improvements, training, and knowledge sharing to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
For internal applications - 12 months as Analyst II Graduate from Commerce discipline 24 months of experience in the Financial Services Industry / Asset Servicing Experience will be preferred (Please mention if previous work experience involved, relevant to Financial Services Industry)
Should be at least a valued partner in the previous ARC The current role is for Night shift Overall knowledge Comprehensive understanding of the Securities Lending Trade Lifecycle Good working knowledge or experience in Asset Servicing. Knowledge or prior experience in Securities lending collateral management would be an added advantage. Overall understanding of the risk associated with Lending domain in specific and Asset Servicing practice in general Must have an eye for detail and should be able to carry out Quality checks and report the same Operational knowledge on systems such as GSL, DTC, TLM would be preferable Good verbal & written communication skills is a must Must possess and demonstrate qualities of a team player Should be able to multitask and handle pressure situations Should understand the concept of Driving Performance Ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines with minimum supervision, escalating issues where necessary
