Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations into high-risk transaction anomalies (MNR/RNR, high return velocity, promo exploitation, friendly fraud).
• Develop fraud rules and risk scoring to prevent emerging attack vectors.
• Collaborate with Contact Center, Logistics and Digital Risk to embed robust controls and policies.

Role Summary

Execute daily transaction monitoring and analytical deep-dives across the Merchandise Not Received (MNR) and Refund Not Received (RNR) domains. This role focuses on identifying anomalies, analyzing financial loss trends, investigating root causes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate financial risk while safeguarding the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Fraud Investigation & Strategic Decisioning: Lead complex investigations into high-risk transaction anomalies (including MNR/RNR, high return velocity, promo exploitation, and friendly fraud), constructing robust, evidence-backed frameworks to confidently validate or reject high-value claims.
• Proactive Defense & Detection Optimization: Translate granular investigation findings into high-impact fraud rules, dynamic risk scoring, and preventive controls to actively block emerging attack vectors and reinforce operational security.
• Cross-Functional Influence & Governance: Uphold total confidentiality across sensitive investigations while driving loss prevention strategy, partnering with key business units (Contact Center, Logistics, Digital Risk) to embed robust controls and continuously refine operational policies.

• Domain Expertise & Analytical Mastery: 3–5+ years of experience in fraud platforms and e-commerce loss prevention, with advanced skills in reporting to turn complex threat patterns into clear strategic recommendations.
• Process Innovation & Adaptive Mindset: Proven track record of evaluating emerging fraud tech, tools, and industry benchmarks to modernize detection capabilities and streamline operational workflows without compromising user experience.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Ownership: Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor junior analysts, present risk exposure to leadership, and collaborate seamlessly across operational teams in high-tempo environments.
