Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a seasoned software professional to join the Merchandising Systems team. You will design, develop, and support scalable merchandising technology solutions that enable data-driven decisions and optimize performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining system stability, monitoring environments, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with IT, business, and vendor teams to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in PL/SQL and UNIX Shell scripting.
• Nice to have Pro*C experience.
• Proficient in Python development.

Job Description: You will be:

As part of the Merchandising Systems team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance through the design, development, and execution of world-class merchandising technology solutions. This role is focused on building and supporting scalable systems that support evolving business needs and enable data-driven merchandising decisions.

What you will do:

• Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability.
• Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels.
• Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for Merchandising systems and processes.
• Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage Incidents.
• Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as needed.

You also have:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software development.
• 5+ years of experience with PL/SQL and UNIX Shell scripting.
• Nice to have Pro*c experience.
• Proficient in Python development.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
• Good analytical skills.
• Nice to have Retail experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience in implementing or supporting merchandising or ERP systems.

• Familiarity with campaign execution tools, product lifecycle management, and data governance is a plus.
