Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group seeks a detail-oriented buying operations professional to support PO processing, vendor coordination, and inventory planning across North America partnerships. You will collaborate with Merchandising Planning, Sample and buying teams to ensure timely replenishment and accurate forecasting.

The role emphasizes analytical skills, advanced Excel usage, and strong communication with vendors and internal teams to maintain optimal store inventories and service levels.

Qualifications

• Graduate/PG required or equivalent.
• Preference for work experience in retail with supply chain exposure.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders (POs) accurately and timely using relevant tools.
• Coordinate with vendors to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prioritize orders based on urgency, business needs and SLAs.
• Collaborate with Planners, Buyers and stakeholders to manage replenishment inventory with accurate forecasting.
• Understand stock minimums, presentation minimums, maximums, safety stock and lead times.
• Maintain in-stock goals through effective product distribution (stock balancing).
• Analyze sales history and trends to develop allocation strategies for store inventory levels.
• Provide regular reports on order status, vendor performance and operational metrics.

Role Description:

• Collaborate with Planners, Buyers and other relevant stakeholders to manage Replenishment inventory through accurate forecasting and rectifying all relevant components to achieve department-in-stock goals.
• Has the concept/grasp of Stock-store Minimums/Presentation minimum, Maximums, Safety stock, Review Time, Lead time, Store to store transfers etc.
• Stock Balancing: Maintain in-stock goals through effective product distribution.
• Analyze sales history and trends to maximize sales potential by developing allocation strategies that maintain proper store inventory levels.
• Provide regular reports on order status, vendor performance, and operational metrics.
