Job summary

The Apex Group in Pune, India invites an asset administration professional to join our fund services team. You will support CLOs, CDOs, credit funds and loan workflows with precise asset administration, reconciliation and reporting.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, with strong communication and attention to detail, and will collaborate with brokers, custodians and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely processing and delivery of client reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CLOs, CDOs and credit funds is required.
• Experience with loans and asset administration processes.
• Candidates should be highly organized with excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Asset administration duties including asset setup, maintenance, reconciliation and reporting.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians and agents; process notices and corporate actions.
• Enter and settle trades and prepare internal reports.
• Cash/position reconciliation duties including daily cash and client position reconciliations and resolving breaks.
• Research discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.

The Candidate

The candidate will have a good working knowledge and experience working with CLOs, CDOs, Credit Funds and the different types of Loans. They will be driven and motivated to achieve excellence through hard work, good organisation skills, excellent communication and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

• Asset administration: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks including Asset setup
• Asset Maintenance and reconciliation
• Liaising with 3rd party brokers/custodians/agents
• Processing agent notices
• Processing corporate actions
• Entering and settling trades as required
• Preparing and assisting with various reports required by internal teams
• Other duties assigned by Management

Cash/Position Reconciliation

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of reconciliation duties and tasks including Preparing daily reconciliation of cash transactions
• Preparing daily reconciliation of Apex/Client positions
• Ensuring aged breaks ( over 7 days ) are addressed and escalated
• Processing and reconciling data in various systems
• Actively researching discrepancies with various agents and internal teams
• Preparing and ensuring all Reporting is issued within the required timeframes
