Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking an experienced HRIS Reporting Senior Analyst to design and deliver employment reporting solutions and analytics for the HR Operations Team. You will partner with internal stakeholders to turn requirements into OTBI and BI Publisher reports that drive accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes data integrity, security, and collaboration with HR leaders, with opportunities to train users, develop dashboards, and support regulatory compliance across the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of OTBI/BI Publisher reporting experience.
• Experience with HR data and processes.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Strong reporting and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for general HR reporting; gather requirements and create reports and dashboards in OTBI/BI Publisher.
• Develop OTBI and BI Publisher reports and dashboards.
• Contribute to HR reporting projects including payroll, time, and benefits.
• Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance; identify improvements.
• Translate requirements to technical teams; support testing and validation.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to answer workforce analytics questions.
• Train users on reports and promote efficient usage.
• Maintain reporting security and access controls.
• Suggest process improvements for the reporting function.
• Provide guidance to junior staff when needed.

Overview

Under the direction of the HRIS Function Manager for Reporting, the HRIS Reporting Senior Analyst concentrates on developing and designing employment related reporting solutions and data analytics to create efficiencies, assist, and meet regulatory requirements for the Human Resources Operations Team.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

• Act as primary contact for General HR Reporting, consulting with internal customers to create requirements for new reports, report changes, and data requests including developing reports and dashboards in Oracle
• Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher.
• Contribute to core/general HR reporting and/or projects. Possible additional reports in Payroll, Time, and/or Benefits modules.
• Facilitate functional compliance, data integrity or other related HR strategic analysis, surfacing opportunities for improvement or corrective action to various HR leaders and tracking ongoing improvements or trends.
• Develop or translate requirements to technical developers when needed.
• Perform first level issue analysis for potential issues; and testing and validating results against data and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that will help answer key strategic workforce analytics-based questions, including key performance indicators.
• Train and educate users on related reports and efficient use.
• Maintain reporting security.
• Recommend process improvements for reporting team and external processes impacting the team.
• Perform data integrity or other related HR strategic analysis.
• May provide guidance to lower level staff but has no formal supervisory responsibility.

About you

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years experience building and testing reports in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher.
• General HR process and/or data experience.
• Proven strength and experience utilizing various reporting tools and MS Excel for variety of data analysis needs.
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Word & PowerPoint.

Desired:

• Requirement gathering and documentation.
• Oracle HCM security experience.
• Extensive Oracle HCM process and data experience.
