Job summary

Alstom in Bengaluru invites experienced IT finance professionals to join Group IT Cost consolidation and Recharge Analyst. You will consolidate RUN IT costs across the Group, provide insights on cost vs budget, and support forecasts, budgets, and consolidation to drive performance.

The role partners with IS&T RUN controllers and IT Finance teams worldwide, driving global cost processes, service catalogue implementation, and accurate recharge to projects and platforms.

Qualifications

• Chartered accountant or MBA with 5–8 years post-qualification IT finance experience.
• 5–8 years FP&A experience in a multinational environment; SAP knowledge.
• ERP SAP proficiency required.
• Experience with international stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate IT RUN costs across units and provide budget vs actual insights.
• Support forecasts, budget timelines, and consolidation with IS&T RUN cost Controller.
• Set up global IT cost recharge processes and service catalogue.
• Oversee transversal IT finance processes and BI reporting.

Job Title (Job Code): Group IT Cost consolidation and Recharge Analyst

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Consolidate IT RUN costs across all units of the Alstom group and provide insights on actual costs versus budget to drive business performance.
• Support the IS&T RUN Controller in driving forecasts, budget preparation, budget timelines, and consolidation.
• Set up global processes to improve IT cost and IT cost recharge.
• Oversee various transversal processes within the IT Finance team.
• Implementation of service catalogue for IT across the globe.
• Ensure recharge of IT costs to the correct customer projects/R&D.

Main Responsabilities

IS&T Cost Budget, Forecast and Consolidation of RUN costs:

• Monthly reporting of IS&T Cost - consolidation from different countries / regions or systems.
• Prepare monthly Variance analysis and rolling forecast after considering the one offs, reclass to drive the landing forecast along with lead controllers of respective towers.
• Prepare Budget in collaboration with operations, Country Business partners.

RUN recharge to Platforms and Projects:

• He/ She would be the SPOC from finance who manages budget, Forecast, book Accruals and invoice RUN recharge to the projects / platforms based on their consumption.
• Responsible to drive process efficiency in RUN Recharge and making sure all the costs incurred on behalf of the business are recharged as per agreement.
• Implementation of Service catalogue and recharge process based on the new Service catalogue.
• Prepare Recharge budget and communicate the same with the business to predict them in the budget year.

India / France: IS&T Local invoicing:

• Responsible of India Transfer pricing invoicing to France
• Responsible for IS&T local invoicing to other units in India.
• SPOC for India audit RU2087

Transverse:

• Power BI Manager for IS&T: Be sure BI tools of IS&T updated regularly with the right level of information like Budget, latest forecast, and Actuals.
• To be ready to take & manage ad-hoc assignments on IS&T financial process continuous improvement.

Main Required Competences

Mandatory:

• Chartered accountant / MBA – 5-8 years’ post qualification experience in IT Finance

Desirable: Chartered accountant/MBA - 5 to 8 years of experience in IT Finance.

Experience

Mandatory:

• 5 to 8 years experience in FP&A, SAP, MNC organization, Interaction with International team.
• Knowledgeable of ERP – SAP in Specific

Desirable:

• Business controlling & IT cost controlling with an international scope or responsibility.
