Job summary

WPP in Mumbai seeks an experienced Accounts Payable specialist to process PO and Non-PO invoices, assign GL accounts, and resolve vendor queries. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely payments and accurate posting.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in AP, a B.Com, and strong English communication. This is an office-based role located at Vikhroli West with MS Office proficiency and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable – Invoice processing (PO & Non-PO).
• B.Com Graduate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process PO and Non-PO invoices for payments.
• Assign GL accounts and cost centers for non-PO invoices.
• Handle vendor escalations and inquiries on unpaid invoices.
• Assist in month-end closing and aging analysis.
• Ensure two-/three-way match for PO invoices with GR.

What you'll be doing:

• Processing Purchase Order (PO) and Non-Purchase Order (Non-PO) invoices for payments.
• Assigning respective GL account and cost centres for non-PO invoices.
• Providing solutions for internal requests created by team members. (RFI’s)
• Working on TDB invoices. (Provisions for future payments).
• Working on rejected invoices from approver.
• Providing sales line (clients) the reserve status for those invoices which are on hold.
• Monitoring aging documents and taking correct actions to meet the TAT.
• Reporting: EOD reporting of Recording and invoice
• Investigating and taking correct action on escalations from vendor for unpaid invoices.
• Assisting in month end closing.
• Comparing and processing PO Invoices with goods receipt (GR). (Two -way match and three -way match).
• Root cause analysis to identify the type of differences in the transaction.
• Investigating supplier queries and providing solutions.
• Highlighting the mistakes received from the supplier.
• Review and achieve daily and monthly target.

• Open to work 5 days from Office.
• Ok to work in US shift (6:30 pm -3:30 am)

• Minimum B. Com Graduate.
• Should be an experienced problem solver with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible attitude to achieve results.

• Advanced MS office skills.
