Job summary

SmartStream in Mumbai requires an Analyst to manage and reconcile invoices within SLA targets. You will work with SmartStreams Transactions, Fees Cost and Invoice Management to ensure service levels are met, using SQL, Power BI and Excel for data matching and issue resolution.

The role emphasizes data reconciliation, client communication, and collaboration with brokers, banks, and internal teams. Prior experience in banking/finance is valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI required.
• Experience with data reconciliation or data matching is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Excel and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile invoices according to process and procedure.
• Meet Service Level Agreement targets.
• Work on SmartStreams Transactions, Fees Cost and Invoice Management to ensure SLAs are met.
• Use the Smartstream solution to match client data and highlight exceptions.
• Raise data exceptions and manage investigation to completion.
• Prioritise work to ensure SLAs are met.
• Keep client informed of progress and liaise with brokers & banks to close issues.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to improve the Smartstream solution.
• Derivatives product knowledge with listed brokerage experience preferred.
• Sound knowledge of Investment Banking products and the trade lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of Excel and numeracy; analytic problem solving.
• Experience in an SLA-based environment and data reconciliation role.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and Reconcile invoices according to process and procedure
• Meet Service Level Agreement targets
• Work on SmartStreams Transactions, Fees Cost and Invoice Management solution ensuring all service level agreements are met.
• Typical Work Activities include:
• Use the Smartstream solution to match client data and highlight any exceptions.
• Raising data exceptions and managing the investigation process to completion.
• Prioritising work to ensure all SLAs are adhered too.
• Keeping the client fully informed of progress and liaising with brokers & banks to close any issues.
• Work with multiple teams to provide ideas and input into improving the Smartstream solution.
• Derivatives Product knowledge with experience in Listed Brokerage preferred
• Sound knowledge of Investment Banking products predominantly Derivatives
• Sound knowledge of the Trade Lifecycle
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Analytic problem solving skills
• Good numeracy skills.
• Experience of working with SLA environment
• Experience in a data reconciliation or data matching role preferred
• 2-4 years of experience of working in the Banking/finance industry
• Experience of working in a Software House or Development centre is a good to have
• Familiarity with project methodology is a good to have
