Smart Stream's Fees and Expense Management (FEMS) business seeks a Business Analyst to manage a techno‑functional role with knowledge of capital markets and AI.
Experience and a proven track record of execution working on enterprise technology initiatives is required. The candidate will support IT, Operations, and Continuous Improvement development activities and will have knowledge of SQL developer, LLMs and Agentic AI.

Job Responsibilities
- Collect and organize data, define collection methodology, templates, and tools, and prioritize work efficiently.
- Requirements Management: Elicit, record, and analyze requirements to enable traceability to desired customer outcomes; document dependencies and interrelationships; use advanced techniques such as brainstorming, process workflow diagrams, qualitative and quantitative analysis, reverse engineering; use tools that promote better understanding such as visual aids, prototyping, and modeling tools.
- Stakeholder Management and Client Engagement: Engage functional owners and stakeholders professionally without supervision; complete business case and impact analysis; document and articulate "as is", "to be", and transitional states; validate with stakeholders; liaise between business units, technology, and support teams; provide client engagement support to FEMS customers.
- Solution Delivery: Identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions; contribute to design and delivery of solutions in accordance with scope, requirements, quality standards, and target delivery dates; maintain artifacts and documentation; support FEMS internal improvement initiatives; evaluate processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements; use LLM tools and AI models to automate manual tasks; understand latest technology trends.

- Knowledge of BC&E (Brokerage, Clearing, and Exchange) expense categories, global securities market structure, and accounting.
- IIBA certification of ECBA; CCBA or CBAP preferred.
- Technically skilled in writing SQL queries, macros and using python.
- Ability to adapt and use AI in day‑to‑day tasks.
- Understanding of LLM, agents and applying them to BAU.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required.
Experience
Minimum 3 years' related experience.
