Kaar Technologies in Chennai is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux servers. You will oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, while maintaining virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

You will monitor performance, perform patches, implement backup and DR, and secure systems. Strong scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python) and collaboration with IT teams are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 610+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot complex server, storage, and network issues.
• Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams during projects and deployments.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators.
• Ensure systems meet organizational security, performance, and compliance standards.
