Persistent is seeking a Senior AI OPS Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and related software on Google Cloud Platform. The role emphasizes strong Python engineering, ADK proficiency, and hands-on cloud deployment.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms and workflows, using Terraform for IaC and delivering production-ready AI solutions with hybrid work options.

About Position:

The AI Ops Engineer III will design, build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and related software applications. The role requires strong Python engineering skills, experience with AI agent development, and hands-on capability in deploying and supporting solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust AI agents and software applications using Python and Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI agents and supporting infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms and workflows.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform to enable reliable and repeatable deployments.
• Perform development testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of deployed AI software and operational processes.
• Support other related engineering and operational activities as assigned.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant software engineering or AI operations experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python-based application development.
• Practical knowledge of AI agents, AI workflows, and agent development frameworks or toolkits.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications or AI workloads on GCP.
• Working knowledge of Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
