Bring 2–6 years of study abroad sales and counselling experience, with a proven track record of meeting targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and CRM skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in study abroad or EdTech.
• Proven track record of achieving sales/admission targets.
• Strong knowledge of international education and counselling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling premium or high-value customers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents on international education programs and destinations.
• Assess profiles, goals, academics and finances to provide guidance.
• Manage leads from counselling to enrolment and revenue.
• Drive conversions through consultative selling and follow-ups.
• Handle premium student profiles with high service standards.
• Meet monthly and quarterly admission and revenue targets.
• Build relationships with students and parents throughout the journey.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of leads and activities.

Work Schedule: 6 days a week | Sunday fixed off

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Admission Counsellor to join our Premium Study Abroad team in Chennai.

The role involves counselling prospective students and parents, understanding their study-abroad aspirations, and guiding them towards the right international education opportunities while driving admissions and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents on international education programs, universities, courses, and destinations.
• Understand student profiles, career goals, academic background, and financial considerations to provide personalized guidance.
• Manage leads through the complete sales funnel, from initial counselling to conversion and enrolment.
• Drive conversions through consultative selling, effective follow-ups, and strong objection handling.
• Handle premium/high-value student profiles while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission and revenue targets.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the decision-making journey.
• Maintain accurate lead and activity records in the CRM.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth application and enrolment journey.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve conversion and customer experience.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in Study Abroad, Overseas Education, EdTech, or consultative sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales/admission targets.
• Strong knowledge of international education and study-abroad counselling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong counselling, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling premium or high-value customers will be an advantage.
