upGrad in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Admission Counsellor for Study Abroad to guide students and parents through overseas education journeys, recommending universities and courses across destinations (USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, and more) and providing end-to-end support from enquiry to admission.

The role involves conducting face-to-face counselling, advising on country options, universities, and eligibility, and supporting applications, documentation, interviews, and visas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in education sales (with at least 1 year in the same company).
• Study Abroad knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory - structured training will be provided.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to engage effectively with students and parents.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving counselling/enrollment targets.
• Minimum education qualification: Graduation in any stream; Postgraduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person counselling sessions with students and parents.
• Guide them on country options, universities, courses, and eligibility requirements.
• Support students with applications, documentation, interview, and visa processes.
• Build strong relationships and trust to drive conversion of enquiries to admissions.

As a Senior Admission Counsellor - Study Abroad, you will play a key role in guiding students and parents through their overseas education journey via face-to-face counselling sessions. Your focus will be to understand student aspirations, recommend the right universities and courses across destinations (USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia and more) and provide end-to-end support from enquiry to admission.
