Job summary

Mount Talent Consulting is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist based in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will manage AP responsibilities, ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting, and support effective GL posting and reconciliation.

You should have a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics, 2+ years of AP experience, and familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP.
• Working knowledge of US Accounts Payable and related activities.
• Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables.
• Life Sciences/Healthcare/Pharma exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable duties and monthly close and financial reporting.
• Post invoices, pass GL entries, prepare month-end reports and statement matching.
• Prepare account reconciliations and schedules as needed.
• Investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Provide support to other teams on special projects.

Role & responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable, proficiency in accounting systems, strong analytical skills, and the motivation to contribute to an accurate, high-quality, and efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting process.
• Posting Invoices & passing correct GL & preparing month end report & Statement Matching
• Prepare account reconciliations and schedules as needed.
• Investigate and resolve variances or discrepancies.
• Provide support to other teams across the company, including on special projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle or SAP).
• Working knowledge of US Accounts Payable & other additional activities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior exposure to Life Sciences / Healthcare / Pharma industry is preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
