Openco Consulting is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance for multiple clients across India. The role demands strong technical expertise, independent client handling, and guidance to junior team members.

You will oversee day-to-day accounting, review financial records, and ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns, while coordinating audits and MCA filings.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of accounting, taxation and compliance experience.
• Proficient in Tally and BUSY accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
• Experience with MCA filings and corporate compliance.
• Experience reviewing junior staff work and coordinating audits.
• IFRS and Ind AS knowledge is advantageous.

The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting, taxation and statutory compliance activities for multiple clients across India. The role requires strong technical expertise, independent client handling and the ability to review financial records, manage compliance deadlines and guide junior team members.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and finalization of accounts for multiple clients.
• Review accounting entries, ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and file GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax Returns within statutory deadlines.
• Perform GST, bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits, including preparation of schedules and supporting documents.
• Handle MCA filings and other corporate compliance requirements, as applicable.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and other accounting documentation.
• Coordinate with clients to collect financial information, resolve queries, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and tax regulations to maintain compliance.
• Review the work of junior team members, provide guidance and ensure quality and timely delivery of assignments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation and compliance, preferably in an accounting firm or CA firm.
• Proficiency in Tally and BUSY accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting practices, GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
• Working knowledge of MCA filings and corporate compliance requirements.
• Good understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles; knowledge of Ind AS is an added advantage.
• Experience in managing multiple clients, reviewing accounting work and coordinating audits.
