Job summary

AYYAN FIREWORKS FACTORY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Senior Accountant in Tamil Nadu to independently manage accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The role demands a minimum of 7 years of experience, expertise in GST, TDS, and income tax, and strong analytical skills for accurate financial interpretation.

Experience with CA firm exposure or CA/CA Intermediate is preferred. Proficiency in Tally and thorough knowledge of statutory requirements will be essential for month-end

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience; candidates with significantly more experience will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience working under a Chartered Accountant / CA firm or with exposure to professional accounting and audit practices are preferred.
• Candidates who have pursued CA / CA Intermediate or have equivalent practical knowledge and expertise are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of GST returns, reconciliations, input tax credit, TDS returns, and tax compliance.
• Ability to prepare and review Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow statements.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, accounts payable/receivable, provisions, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful inputs to management.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow statements.
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and manage accounts payable/receivable, provisions, and accruals.
• Ensure timely tax filings and strict statutory compliance.
