The candidate will manage day-to-day accounting, support month-end closes, and coordinate with auditors and internal teams to ensure audit-ready records.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities: journal entries, ledgers, expenses.
• Handle GST workings, input tax credit reconciliation, returns, and compliance.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and quarterly returns.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Conduct bank and vendor reconciliations; ledger scrutiny.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure statutory compliance and maintain audit-ready records.
• Support senior management with financial analysis.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong accounting and taxation background, preferably with experience working in a CA firm. An M.Com qualification is preferred. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in GST, TDS, accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and expense accounting.
• Handle GST-related activities, including GST workings, input tax credit reconciliation, return filing, and compliance.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, quarterly return filing, and reconciliation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Conduct bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and records for audits.
• Support senior management with financial analysis and accounting-related requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• M.Com preferred; B.Com candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Experience working in a CA firm is preferred, with exposure to accounting, audit, GST, and TDS.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Hands-on experience in GST workings, reconciliation, compliance, and return filing.
• Practical knowledge of TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or other ERP systems.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
