Sterling Electro Enterprise is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage day-to-day GST accounting operations in Mumbai. You will handle invoicing, expenses, and ensure compliance with GST laws while preparing and filing GST and TDS returns.

The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work under deadlines, with a go-getter attitude and positive approach.

Competenze

• Graduation or post graduation in accounting or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of GST and other statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, compliance tools, MIS tools.

Role & responsibilities:

Checking day-to-day Accounting operations including invoicing, expenses and others

• Handling GST department notices & assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all GST laws and regulations.
• Review and file GST returns accurately and in a timely manner.
• Preparing & filing various GST returns & TDS return.
• Assisting in responding to notices from tax authorities related to GST filing
• Keep updated with the latest GST rules and regulations to adapt the organization's practices accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all GST-related transactions.
• Ensure the organization is well-prepared for GST audits.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide guidance on GST-related matters.
• Interact with government authorities and tax consultants as needed.
• Continuously evaluate and improve GST processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Preferred candidate profile :

• Graduation/Post Graduation in Accounting Field or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of GST and other relevant statutory requirements.
• Expertise in computer applications like MS Office, Accounting Packages, Compliance Tools, MIS Tools etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Should have go getter attitude and positive approach.
