Job summary

Nagreeka Indcon Products P Limited is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage books, GST compliance, and financial reporting. The role involves accurate filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and coordination with auditors and authorities.

You should bring hands-on experience in a manufacturing setup with a substantial turnover and strong Excel skills. Candidate should have a Commerce background (B.Com/M.Com/CA Accounting) and be proficient in Tally Prime and SAP.

Qualifications

• Experience in core accounting in manufacturing with turnover 60–150 crores.
• Proficient in GST return filing and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and accounting records.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Regular reconciliation of GSTR-2B/2A with purchase registers to maximize ITC.
• Maintain general ledgers, process accounts payable/receivable, and verify vendor invoices
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.
• Generate financial reports and MIS statements.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and accounting records.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• regular reconciliation of GSTR-2B/2A with purchase registers to maximize Input Tax Credit (ITC) claim accuracy.
• Maintain general ledgers, process accounts payable/receivable, and verify vendor invoices
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.
• Generate financial reports and MIS statements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce B. Com, M. Com inter CA Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-7 years of core accounting experience in Manufacturing Company having turnover 60-150 crores, with at least 2-5 years focused heavily on GST compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST return filing, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally Prime, SAP, alongside advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Understanding of CGST, SGST, IGST, Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), and ITC rules.
