Job summary

Elitecon International is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant GST & Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting and ensure timely GST compliance. The role focuses on GST return preparation and filing, reconciliations, and general accounting using Tally Prime.

Ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of relevant experience, hands-on GST filing, and strong Tally Prime skills. Immediate joiners preferred; FMCG/manufacturing/trading exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Accounts & GST.
• Hands-on GST return filing experience is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Must be capable of independently making day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Good knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation and ITC.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Pass and maintain accounting entries in Tally Prime, including sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal and contra entries.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and accounting records in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B independently.
• Perform GST reconciliation with books and GSTR-2B.
• Verify GST invoices, input tax credit and applicable GST treatment.
• Handle purchase and sales entries and related documentation.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Coordinate with auditors/consultants for accounting and GST-related requirements.
