Job summary

DevKrishna Trucking in Supaul, Bihar, is building its accounts function from the ground up. We seek a Dealership Accountant to own end-to-end accounting, including invoicing, MIS, and reconciliations, working closely with the Director.

The role requires 2–5 years in accounts, hands-on Tally Prime, and strong GST/TDS knowledge, with proficiency in Hindi and English. On-site, full-time position with compensation commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in accounts, preferably in an automobile dealership.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS processes.

Responsibilities

• Review every sales quotation against price list, discount matrix and margin floor before it reaches the customer.
• Verify receipts are realised before invoices are booked (bank credit, cash counted).
• Book all sales, service and parts invoices in Tally as Optional Vouchers for daily review by the Director.
• Reconcile DMS against Tally daily for Sales, Service and Parts.
• Reconcile parts issued vs GRN vs parts billed daily to prevent leakage.
• Approve job-card quotations before final billing (labour, parts, OT/TA-DA, GST).
• Compute technician overtime and TA/DA from attendance records.
• Produce a daily MIS for the Director: sales, service, parts, cash-in-hand, bank balance, receivables.

We are hiring: Dealership Accountant — DevKrishna Trucking (BharatBenz), Supaul, Bihar

DevKrishna Trucking is the authorised BharatBenz 3S dealership (Sales, Service, Spares) for the Kosi belt — Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura and Araria — and part of the Devkrishna group, which has been building infrastructure in this region for close to three decades.

We are setting up the accounts function of the dealership from the ground up, and we are looking for one person to own it.

What the role actually is

• Review every sales quotation against the approved price list, discount matrix and margin floor before it reaches the customer
• Verify that every receipt is actually realised — bank credit confirmed on statement, cash physically counted — before any invoice is booked
• Book all sales, service and parts invoices in Tally as Optional Vouchers for daily review and regularisation by the Director
• Reconcile DMS against Tally every single day across Sales, Service and Parts — invoice counts, values, cash, bank, UTR level
• Reconcile parts issued vs GRN vs parts billed daily, so leakage is visible the same day and not at month-end
• Approve job-card quotations before final billing — labour, parts, OT/TA-DA allocation, warranty vs chargeable classification, GST
• Compute technician overtime and TA/DA from attendance records
• Produce a one-page daily MIS for the Director: sales, service, parts, cash-in-hand, bank balance, pending receivables

What we are looking for

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance), or equivalent
• 2–5 years in accounts, preferably in an automobile dealership — commercial vehicle experience is a strong plus
• Hands‑on Tally Prime, including optional vouchers, GST and TDS working
• Comfortable working inside a DMS and pulling daily extracts into Excel
• Detail‑oriented, organised, and willing to hold a line when numbers do not match
• Working knowledge of Hindi and English
