Job summary

Abans Group, a diversified NBFC and financial services conglomerate in Mumbai, invites an experienced finance professional to lead accounting operations. The role focuses on closing books, statutory compliance, and strengthening controls, with a minimum of six years in Accounting & Finance and hands-on Tally expertise.

You will supervise the team, coordinate audits, prepare MIS, and liaise with banks, auditors, and regulators to ensure regulatory adherence and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably in NBFC.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime is mandatory.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Ind AS and RBI NBFC regulations.
• Strong MS Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor accounting team.
• Experience with statutory audits and MIS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations and timely closure of books.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, RBI NBFC regs.
• Handle GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Coordinate statutory, internal, tax, and regulatory audits.
• Prepare MIS and financial analysis for management.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Develop internal controls and accounting policies.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulators.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably in an NBFC.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Ind AS, and RBI regulations.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in the NBFC or Financial Services industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
