Job summary

Psn Automotive Marketing is seeking an Accountant to own the day-to-day accounting ecosystem and ensure audit-ready books. The role requires handling end-to-end bookkeeping, journal entries, ledgers, and financial reporting using Tally ERP.

Ideal candidates have a degree in commerce or finance and extensive experience in accounting, preferably in NBFC/financial services. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations and end-to-end bookkeeping using Tally ERP and related software.
• Record and maintain Journal entries, Ledgers, Trial Balance, and assist in preparing Balance Sheets, P&L and Cash Flow statements.
• Oversee bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations to ensure timely closure of books.
• Support statutory compliance including GST and TDS aligned with NBFC regulatory requirements.
• Assist internal/external audits and contribute to MIS reports for leadership.

Role & responsibilities

As our Accountant, you will own the day-to-day accounting ecosystem and ensure our books are audit-ready and compliant. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Core Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations and end-to-end bookkeeping using Tally ERP and related software.
• Financial Reporting: Record and maintain Journal entries, Ledgers, Trial Balance, and assist in preparing accurate Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, and Cash Flow statements.
• Reconciliations: Oversee meticulous bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to ensure the timely closure of books.
• Compliance & Tax: Support statutory compliance, including GST and TDS, ensuring full alignment with NBFC-specific regulatory requirements.
• Audits & MIS: Assist with internal/external audits and collaborate on financial reporting and Management Information System (MIS) reports for leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree: B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent degree.
• Track Record: 23 years of solid accounting experience, ideally within an NBFC or financial services environment.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Software Mastery: High proficiency in Tally ERP and standard accounting tools.
• Accounting Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of Journal entries, General Ledgers, Trial Balances, and financial statement compilation.
• Regulatory Familiarity: Comfort with NBFC accounting processes and compliance standards.
• Attributes: Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the communication clarity needed for management reporting. You should be equally comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team.
