Sangam Dresses in Meerut is seeking a MIS cum Accountant to manage accounting, MIS reporting, ERP data integrity, and retail inventory control. The role supports decision-making with dashboards and analytical insights across stores and ERP modules.
The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years in Accounts & MIS within retail or garment sectors and strong Excel/ERP skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Uttar Pradesh with a focus on process improvement.
The MIS cum Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing management reports (MIS), ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining ERP data integrity, and supporting retail business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ERP systems, retail accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, and data analysis. This role plays a key part in providing timely business insights to management for informed decision-making.
1. Accounting & Financial Management
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in month-end and year-end closing.
Reconcile ledgers, bank accounts, vendor balances, and customer accounts.
Ensure accurate accounting entries in the ERP system.
Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management.
Generate sales, purchase, inventory, profitability, and expense reports.
Analyze sales trends, margins, stock movement, and operational performance.
Prepare dashboards and analytical reports using Excel and ERP.
Support management with business insights and decision-making.
Ensure accurate data entry and transaction processing in the ERP system.
Coordinate with users to resolve ERP-related issues.
Monitor master data, inventory records, customer and vendor databases.
Work closely with IT/ERP teams for process improvements and system enhancements.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all ERP modules.
Monitor retail sales reconciliation across all stores.
Verify POS sales, cash collections, digital payments, and bank deposits.
Perform inventory reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records.
Analyze stock ageing, slow-moving inventory, and stock variances.
Coordinate with warehouse and retail teams for stock accuracy.
Monitor operational expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Conduct variance analysis for budgets versus actuals.
Assist in product costing and profitability analysis.
Support procurement cost analysis and expense optimization.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Assist during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and internal controls.
Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements.
Track receivables and payables.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital reports.
Coordinate with banks for routine banking activities.
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
Professional certification in Accounting or ERP will be an added advantage.
