Job summary

Saravana Stores in Chennai seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions for the manufacturing wing.

Role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Tally and MS Excel, and the ability to ensure GST, TDS, PF/ESI compliance, with coordination with auditors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing industry accounting processes preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and reports
• Ensure Timely booking of invoices and maintain proper documentation.
• Handle statutory compliance -GST, TDS, PF,ESI and other returns as per norms.
• Prepare bank reconciliation, cash flow statements and fund flow statements.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders as required
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Role & responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and reports

Ensure Timely booking of invoices and maintain proper documentation.
