Job summary

Kaali Green Petro Carbon Llp is seeking a meticulous Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting entries, maintain books in Tally, and handle invoicing and related documentation.

The role involves GST and TDS compliance, bank and ledger reconciliations, MIS reporting, and coordination with auditors, suppliers and internal teams.

This is an on-site Gujarat role offering stable growth and exposure to end-to-end financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries and books of accounts in Tally.
  • Handle sales and purchase invoicing, billing, credit/debit notes and related documentation.
  • Record and reconcile purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments and bank transactions.
  • Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, input tax credit reconciliation and coordination for annual GST returns.
  • Handle TDS calculation, deductions, payments and return filing and maintain supporting records.
  • Maintain vendor and customer ledgers, ageing reports and regular account reconciliations.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation and monthly closing activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, logistics partners and internal teams regarding invoices, payments, documentation and outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accounting records relating to raw material purchases, inventory movement, production-related expenses and sale of finished products.
  • Ensure proper documentation and accounting of plant operating expenses, procurement and capital expenditure.
  • Assist in preparation of MIS reports, receivables/payables, cash flow and other financial reports required by management.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants and other professional advisors for audits, assessments and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure timely filing and maintenance of records for GST, TDS, Income Tax and other applicable statutory compliances.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, bills, challans, returns, payment records and statutory documents
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws and internal financial controls
  • Support management in cost tracking, expense monitoring and financial analysis as required.
