Job summary

Modigold Beverages in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Accounts professional to handle day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, ledgers, reconciliations and closing activities for monthly, quarterly and annual periods.

The role requires a B.Com, M.Com or MBA (Finance); manufacturing experience is preferred. You will oversee GST, TDS, and maintain audit-ready records while guiding junior staff and ensuring disciplined use of the ERP system.

Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com or MBA (Finance) required.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record and verify purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, journal entries and other accounting transactions.
• Review and maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
• Carry out regular bank, customer, vendor and other account reconciliations.
• Scrutinise ledgers and identify errors, unusual balances and pending items.
• Ensure proper documentation and supporting records for accounting entries.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
• Assist in preparation of schedules, statements and information required for MIS and financial reporting.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory accounting-related work and reconciliations.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist in inventory accounting and reconciliation of physical stock with book records.
• Supervise and guide routine accounting work carried out by junior Accounts staff.
• Ensure proper and disciplined use of the Company's accounting/ERP system.
• Take ownership of timely completion and accuracy of assigned accounting work.
