The ideal candidate has 8+ years in corporate finance, CPA qualification (or two CPA subjects cleared), and strong English communication.

• CPA qualification (fully qualified) OR a minimum of two CPA subjects cleared.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close with accurate financial reporting, journal entries, adjustments, accruals and provisions.
• Mentor junior finance team members and drive cross-functional process improvements.
• Oversee AP/AR management, vendor compliance, and reconciliations with banking and payment gateways.
• Partner with stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for executive-level reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Our engineering organisation supports two products: the Platform (our core domain registrar and marketplace business) and Vibe, our AI-powered website builder.Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive (US-CPA) to take on a mid-level leadership role within our Pune finance team. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in core financial operations, month-end close, and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process ensuring highly accurate financial reporting. Oversee journal entries, adjustments, accruals, and provisions. Reconcile and analyze complex account balances.
• Mid-Level Leadership: Guide and mentor junior finance team members. Drive cross-functional collaboration, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement process improvements for business continuity.
• Reconciliation & AP/AR Management: Oversee bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations. Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle, vendor compliance, and accurate receivables aging/collections.
• Strategic Finance & Ad-Hoc Operations: Partner with internal stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare executive-level financial reports and insights to drive critical business decisions.
• Compliance: Enforce adherence to financial regulations and internal company policies, ensuring pristine documentation and audit readiness.

Mandatory Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Experience Threshold: 8+ Years of robust experience strictly in the Core Accounting & Finance domain.
• Domain Exclusion: Experience must be in core corporate finance/accounting.
• Leadership: Proven mid-level leadership or team management experience.
• Certification: CPA qualification (fully qualified) OR a minimum of two CPA subjects cleared.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong technical proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced financial formulas, large dataset management).
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks or similar enterprise accounting software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English for seamless global stakeholder management.
