PAR Technology is seeking an ambitious Senior Accountant, Commercial Accounting to join its global controllership team in a fast-growing tech environment. You will manage day-to-day global commercial accounting, support monthly close for SaaS product lines, and deliver accurate financial reporting with strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong accounting and finance fundamentals with analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
• Passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making and connect operational metrics to financial outcomes.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to improve productivity and workflows.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Planful and Workiva a plus.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the day-to-day management of the company's global commercial accounting function.
• Support the monthly close process for the company's SaaS product lines, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled financial reporting.
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and technical accounting analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, controls, and close activities.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Support SEC reporting requirements, including preparation of footnotes and other disclosures.
• Contribute to special projects, process enhancements, and scaling initiatives as the organization grows.

What We’re Looking For:
