Job summary

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology in India is seeking an experienced security professional to enforce campus safety through vigilant patrolling and proactive monitoring.

The role requires long hours, rotating shifts, and the ability to respond to alarms, incidents, and evacuations while maintaining detailed logs and clear reports.

Candidates with formal security background and fitness will be preferred; age up to 45 years.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of proven security or patrolling experience.

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and work in varying weather conditions and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus routes and inspect perimeters, buildings, and entry points.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and fences for damage and ensure lighting.
• Identify fire hazards, leaks, or safety violations and report immediately.
• Verify visitor credentials and challenge unauthorized personnel.
• Act as first responder during alarms, fires, or medical incidents; assist evacuations.
• Maintain shift logs and write incident reports for unusual occurrences or damages.

Job description

Responsibilities : Patrolling and vigilance duties in the campus:

(a) Conduct Patrols: Walk assigned routes and locations at regular intervals to inspect

perimeters, buildings, parking lots and entry points.

(b) Inspect Vulnerabilities: Check doors, windows, gates, and fences for damage or forced

entry; ensure security lighting is functional.

(c) Monitor Safety Hazards: Identify fire hazards, water leaks, or safety violations and

report them immediately.

(d) Manage Access: Challenge unauthorized personnel, random verification of visitor

credentials and catch trespassers.

(e) Emergency Response: Act as a first responder during altercations, alarms, fires,

security or medical incidents; assist with building evacuations.

(f) Log and Report: Maintain detailed shift logs and write clear incident reports regarding

any unusual occurrences or property damage.
