Job summary

TAG Corporation is seeking a Security Supervisor to assist the Security Officer in managing plant security operations at our Chennai, Tamil Nadu facility. The role involves supervising guards, monitoring entry/exit, maintaining visitor records, and ensuring strict adherence to security procedures.

You will also coordinate with HR/Admin and support in emergencies and safety drills. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in security operations, with good communication, leadership, and basic computer

Qualifications

• Any Degree / Diploma preferred.
• Security/Safety-related certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Officer in managing plant security operations.
• Supervise and coordinate security guards and daily security activities.
• Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials.
• Maintain visitor records, gate passes, and security registers.
• Ensure proper implementation of security procedures within the plant.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance and report suspicious activities or incidents.
• Coordinate with HR, Admin, and other departments regarding security matters.
• Assist in emergencies, drills, evacuation, and safety activities.
• Prepare daily security and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.

• Monitor CCTV surveillance and report any suspicious activities or incidents.


• Support in conducting security checks and maintaining discipline within the premises.


• Coordinate with HR, Admin, and other departments regarding security-related matters.


• Assist in emergency situations, fire drills, evacuation, and other safety-related activities.


• Prepare daily security reports and incident reports.


• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.

Qualification

• Any Degree / Diploma preferred.


• Security/Safety-related certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in a manufacturing industry.


• Experience in handling security guards and plant security activities is preferred.
