Job summary

Nesco Limited is seeking an experienced security professional to maintain safety and security of company premises, employees, visitors and assets in Mumbai Suburban. You will supervise security personnel, enforce protocols and manage access control, inspections and emergency response.

The role requires ex-serviceman experience, strong leadership, and capability to coordinate with internal departments and external security agencies. Prior CCTV and security documentation skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ex-Serviceman from Indian Army/Navy/Air Force, preferably NCO/JCO.

Preferred Profile: Ex-Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) / Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) from the Indian Armed Forces

Experience: Relevant experience in security operations, personnel management and administration

Role Summary

Responsible for maintaining the safety and security of company premises, employees, visitors and assets. The role involves supervising security personnel, enforcing security protocols, managing access control, conducting inspections and ensuring effective emergency response and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage security guards, shift deployment, attendance and discipline.
• Monitor access control, visitor entry, vehicle movement and material inward/outward processes.
• Conduct regular security patrols, inspections and vulnerability assessments across the premises.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures, emergency protocols, fire safety requirements and incident reporting.
• Handle security incidents, investigate reported breaches and coordinate with local police and emergency services, wherever required.
• Maintain security registers, occurrence books, duty rosters and other relevant records.
• Coordinate with internal departments, facility management and external security agencies.
• Train security personnel on discipline, vigilance, emergency response and professional conduct.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance and ensure the proper functioning of security equipment.
• Support security audits, risk assessments and implementation of corrective actions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Ex-Serviceman from the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force, preferably having served as an NCO or JCO.
• Experience in security supervision, personnel administration, access control and operational discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, observation and incident-handling skills.
• Physically fit, alert and capable of handling emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain reports and security documentation.
• Knowledge of fire safety, emergency response and security procedures will be an advantage.
