Job summary

Isgec Heavy Engineering invites applications for a Security Supervisor to safeguard plant premises, employees, visitors, and assets in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

You will supervise guards, manage access control, monitor CCTV, and coordinate with HR, Admin, EHS, Stores, and Production to maintain safety and compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, incident reporting, emergency drills, and timely documentation to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising security guards and shift deployment.
• Knowledge of CCTV operations and incident reporting.
• Ability to coordinate with HR, Admin, EHS, Stores and Production.
• Familiarity with statutory security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations: Supervise security guards and shift deployment to ensure effective security coverage across all shifts, including night shifts.
• Access Control: Monitor entry and exit of employees, contractual workmen, visitors, and vehicles; ensure proper gate passes and authorization.
• Material Movement: Verify material inward and outward movements, gate passes, challans, and other relevant documents in coordination with concerned departments.
• Manpower Management: Monitor attendance, discipline, uniform, grooming, and performance of security personnel and security contractors.
• CCTV Surveillance: Ensure proper functioning of CCTV cameras, monitor surveillance footage, maintain records, and coordinate with the concerned team for timely rectification of faults.
• Incident Management: Handle theft, unauthorized access, disputes, misconduct, and other security incidents; investigate and submit incident reports to management.
• Emergency Response: Coordinate during fire, accidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations; support evacuation and emergency drills.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable security-related statutory requirements, company policies, and procedures for contract security personnel.
• Records & Documentation: Maintain visitor registers, vehicle registers, material movement records, incident reports, shift handover records, and other security documentation.
• Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with HR, Administration, EHS, Stores, and Production departments to resolve security-related issues and submit periodic reports to management.
