Reporting To: Head – Facility

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to lead and manage security operations at Brigade Tech Garden on a 24x7 basis. The role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of people, property and assets while managing security personnel, surveillance systems, access control and emergency response.

The incumbent will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all security-related matters and will be responsible for identifying security risks, implementing preventive measures and maintaining high standards of security operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise uniformed security personnel and ensure effective deployment across the premises.
  • Ensure protection of employees, visitors, property and assets against theft, pilferage, trespassing, damage and other security threats.
  • Develop and implement security policies, processes, access controls and preventive measures.
  • Monitor and manage CCTV surveillance, access control systems and other security equipment.
  • Identify security breaches, investigate incidents and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assess security risks and continuously improve the overall security and safety framework.
  • Coordinate with occupants, visitors, facility teams and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
  • Train and develop security personnel on security procedures, emergency protocols and safety practices.
  • Handle emergency situations including medical emergencies, fire alarms, bomb threats and intrusion alarms.
  • Assess preparedness of security personnel against internal and external security threats.
  • Liaise with police, fire services, government authorities and other local administrative agencies as required.
  • Support internal audits, government inspections and corporate security assessments.
  • Ensure all security equipment and systems remain functional and operational at all times.
  • Prepare and present monthly security management reports to the management.
  • Communicate security updates, incidents, risks and potential issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement instructions and security-related directives issued by management.

  • Sound understanding of security environments, threats and hazards.
  • Ability to manage emergency situations effectively.
  • Hands-on proficiency in MS Office.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling demanding security operations.

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in security operations.
  • Candidates with experience in corporate security, commercial/large-scale facilities or integrated facility management will be preferred.
  • Ex-Armed Forces personnel with corporate security experience will be preferred.
