Avaada Group is seeking an experienced Senior Security Manager to oversee physical security across multiple sites. The role requires coordinating with police, local authorities, and government agencies, and managing third‑party security vendors to ensure compliance with SLAs and company standards.

The ideal candidate will lead risk assessments, emergency response planning, and training programs, while maintaining strict confidentiality and integrity in all security operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical security of assets, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive measures against theft, vandalism, sabotage, and encroachment.
• Design and execute security training programs, conduct mock drills, and ensure staff awareness of SOPs and local practices.
• Build relationships with police and government agencies, coordinate with local authorities to resolve ROW and land matters, and represent the organization in local forums.
• Manage third‑party security agencies, ensure SLA compliance, vendor evaluations, and deployment planning.
• Validate vendor invoices, maintain incident and audit records, and prepare MIS reports for regional and corporate leadership.

Job description

ROLE

• Ensure physical security of company assets, conduct risk assessments, implement preventive measures against theft, vandalism, sabotage, and encroachment, monitor access control systems and surveillance infrastructure, conduct regular security audits, and develop and enforce security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Design and execute periodic training programs for security personnel on SOPs, emergency response, compliance, conflict management, and operational readiness; conduct mock drills and refresher sessions; ensure staff are trained in local cultural sensitivities and regional communication practices.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with police authorities, district administration, and relevant government agencies; coordinate with Panchayats, Sarpanchs, local influencers, and community stakeholders to resolve ROW and land‑related matters; represent the organization in local meetings and forums; support crisis management and dispute resolution.
• Manage third‑party security agencies, ensure compliance with SLAs, statutory requirements, and company standards; conduct periodic vendor evaluations, audits, and performance reviews; oversee deployment planning, attendance, rostering, and supervision of outsourced security personnel; ensure optimal manpower utilization and operational efficiency.
• Validate and process monthly vendor invoices, deployment records, attendance sheets, and billing documentation; maintain accurate records of incident reports, audits, training activities, deployment schedules, and vendor contracts; prepare and submit timely MIS reports to regional and corporate security leadership; ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial/corporate security management, preferably handling large site or cluster operations.
• Strong leadership and crisis management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of industrial security systems, surveillance, and risk management practices.
• Familiarity with local laws, land/ROW matters, and government functioning.
• Strong vendor and contract management skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and stakeholders effectively.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned cluster region and availability to handle emergencies and crisis situations on a 24/7 basis.
