JSW Steel in Khopoli seeks a Section Incharge Security to maintain a safe, secure environment for the plant and personnel. The role involves overseeing security staff, transport and canteen operations, and adherence to security protocols across the site.

The incumbent will coordinate with security and transport vendors, monitor logistics, and lead continuous improvement in security processes while ensuring hygiene and safety standards during shifts.

Qualificações

• Ex-defense personnel with Captain rank or equivalent.
• Experience in Military Police and security services.
• Age should not exceed 42 years.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi (local language).

Responsabilidades

• Manage security functions and administrative control of transport, canteen and plant discipline.
• Ensure security of goods, equipment and high value assets; review procedures to counter sabotage, theft and fraud.
• Enforce strict compliance with company security protocols.
• Oversee timely dispatch of production goods and control logistics including transport and vigilance against pilferage or unauthorized scrap disposal.
• Lead and manage security duties, development and maintenance of security operations.
• Participate in training and development of security personnel.
• Manage canteen services, ensure hygiene and food availability during shifts; conduct surprise kitchen checks.
• Monitor food quality, ensure proper disposal of leftovers and kitchen cleanliness.
• Coordinate with transporters, security vendors and other suppliers.

Purpose - Why does this role exist?

We are looking for a committed and professional security offers to join the team and maintain safe, secure environment. The role will consist of the employees and Plant, surveillance system and prompt response in case of incident.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

1. 1. Manage security functions along with administrative control on Transportation, canteen and plant discipline including housekeeping of the plant.
2. 2. Ensure security of goods, equipment’s and high value assets, implement counter strategies against sabotage, theft, fraud, forgery by regularly reviewing security procedures.
3. 3. Enforce strict compliance with company security protocol
4. 4. Ensure timely dispatch of production goods and maintain tight control over logistics including fitness of trucks, drivers and vigilance against pilferages or unauthorised scrap disposals.
5. 5. Lead and manage the security duties, including strategic development, performance and maintenance of security operations
6. 6. Contribute to training and development of security personnel
7. 7. Manage canteen services and ensuring hygiene and food availability during shift. Conducting surprise checks on kitchen and facilitate to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
8. 8. Monitor food quality in alignment with the Food Committee guidelines, ensure proper disposal of leftovers and maintain cleanliness in kitchen area.
9. 9. Monitor and maintain the Company Transport services for Cars and Buses running for pickup and drop for employees, their maintenance and proper budgeting and billing as per company policy.
10. 10. Coordination with vendors of Transporters, Security Services and vendors.

Education Background and work experience

1. Ex-defense personnel with min rank of Captain
2. Experience in Military Police and services
3. Age should not be more than 42.
4. Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi (Local Language)
