Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Section Engineer-Telecommunication System to support PMC services for signaling, telecom, SCADA, and ticketing systems for Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail. Location choices include Ahmedabad or Delhi, with responsibilities spanning design review, installation, testing, and interface coordination with rolling stock and other subsystems.

The role requires an engineering graduate with 7 years (or diploma with 10 years) of telecom experience in rail projects, including

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 7 years of experience or diploma with 10 years in Telecommunication Systems during construction in rail-based transit projects.
• Experience across High-Speed Rail, Semi High-Speed Rail, and Metro Rail projects with defined speed requirements.
• Familiarity with ETCS/rail telecom standards and data transmission backbone.
• Knowledge of coordination with various subsystems, including signaling and MEP installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design reviews of Telecom subsystems and backbone data transmission.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing and commissioning of Telecom Systems.
• Interface Telecom System with rolling stock and signaling subsystems; approve interface documents.
• Assist in verification of completed work and prepare payment requests to contractors.
• Support NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals and coordinate with agencies (ISA, CMRS).
• Perform other duties as required to complete the project per PD and Client.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Ahemedabad/Delhi

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert and Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to:

• Assist in Design review of Telecom System including sub systems for backbone of data transmission from field units to centralized control centres (DTS), Wireless Network, CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, PAS, Master Clock, EPBAX, Telecom SCADA etc.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of Telecom System.
• Assist in Interfacing of Telecom System with Rolling Stock, Signalling Subsystems, MEP, SCADA etc. and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Experience: Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience of implementing Telecommunication System during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
