Job summary

SEGULA Technologies India (Chennai region) seeks engineers to design and develop automotive sealing systems and components, including door, window, hood, trunk, body and glass seals. You will create 3D models, 2D drawings and detailed specifications, perform design validation and tolerance analysis, and contribute to DFMEA and design reviews.

You will coordinate with BIW, Closure, Plastic Trims, Glass and Manufacturing teams, support prototype testing and production implementation, analyze

Job description

Design and development of automotive sealing systems and components. Develop and modify door, window, hood, trunk, body and glass seals. Create 3D models, 2D drawings and detailed engineering specifications. Perform design validation, feasibility studies and tolerance analysis. Work on DFMEA, GD&T, DFM/DFA and design reviews. Coordinate with BIW, Closure, Plastic Trims, Glass and Manufacturing teams. Support prototype development, testing and production implementation. Analyze fitment, sealing performance, NVH and water-leakage-related issues. Manage engineering changes and design releases through PLM systems. Collaborate with suppliers and customers for technical issue resolution
