Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in India seeks an experienced design engineer to develop body closure components using Catia V5, from concept to final design, ensuring feasibility and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct design reviews, and maintain manufacturability and safety standards as part of a global engineering group.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in CAD Catia V5 for part modelling/drafting.
• Experience on Body closures (Liftgate/Tailgate/Decklid, Side Doors) development.
• Ownership of design and development from concept to final design within timelines.
• Design review/technical review with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing feasibility, packaging study, and attachment feasibility.
• Team player with good customer cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle Engineers, Suppliers and Customers from different regions.
• Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive work environment.

Job description

• Excellent hands-on experience in CAD (Catia V5 - Part modelling/GSD/drafting) and knowledge on Teamcenter/Vismockup.
• Should have worked on Body closures (Liftgate/Tailgate/Decklid, Side Doors) development.
• Take ownership in design and development process of Body closure components from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline.
• Responsible for design review / technical review with cross functional team on commodities.
• Sound knowledge in manufacturing feasibility, packaging study and attachment feasibility.
• Should be a team player and demonstrate good customer cross functional relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with good problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication & Inter-personal skills to handle Engineers, Suppliers and Customers from different regions.
