Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Functional UAT Tester to collaborate with business stakeholders, understand requirements, and define UAT scope. You will prepare test cases, validate end-to-end workflows, and drive UAT execution across cross-functional teams. Strong SQL knowledge and API testing experience are desirable.

The role emphasizes defect tracking, sign-off processes, and maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the STLC and Agile sprint cycles.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ADO or similar.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint-based testing cycles.
• Knowledge in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
