Job summary

Bounteous in Gurugram, India is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and TestNG. You will create automated and manual tests, integrate them into CI/CD, and collaborate with Dev and Ops in an Agile setup.

The role requires strong hands-on QA experience, SDLC/STLC knowledge, and familiarity with JIRA, SQL, and API testing to ensure product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on QA Automation Testing/SDET experience.
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with backend testing in Java; familiarity with JIRA.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, and TestNG.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Integrate and manage test execution within CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and log bugs following QA standards.
• Create and maintain test data for functional and non-functional testing.
• Investigate data issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve anomalies.
• Ensure product quality, performance, scalability, and reliability through comprehensive testing.
• Work closely with Developers, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Project Managers in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to test strategy, automation coverage, and continuous process improvements.
